Role: Regional Director of Strategic Services APAC - Responsys

Responsys was a global leader in a new generation of marketing automation, personalisation, and customer experience platforms.
In my role as Director of Strategic Services APAC, I was responsible for leading the strategic direction of all client work across Asia-Pacific, leading the strategic planning team, driving thought leadership within the business, and interfacing with my US and UK counterparts to continually refine and solidify the strategic service offering globally. I worked at Responsys/Oracle at a time when marketing automation was a new and emerging capability for clients and the industry so the role involved key skills in leadership, education, salesmanship, and innovation.
Key achievements:
Working as a core part of the team that landed and retained, a $40M book of business
Developed and embedded within the team a coordinated and strategic way of working effectively leveraged our technology to grow our client’s businesses. Our way of working integrated elements of data strategy, analytics, communications strategy, content strategy and UX/CX strategy.
Key clients in this role were:
QANTAS, Jetstar, Telstra, FlyBuys, Virgin Airlines, Realestate.com.au, Woolworths Group, various mid-tier retailers.
