Role: Chief Strategy, Data, and Insights Officer - Zenith Media/Publicis Media Australia

Zenith Media and Publicis Media Australia are top-tier media strategy and media buying agencies connected to the global Publicis Groupe.

My role at Zenith was to lead and develop the strategic product and team for Zenith Australia with the ultimate objective to drive demonstrable ROI and bottom-line growth for our clients. I did this by leading the Zenith team in the delivery of accountable, scalable, and evidence-based advice and frameworks, across marketing strategy, brand strategy, marketing operations, marketing analytics, media investment, and communications strategy.

Key achievements:

  • My team in Australia was named the top performing strategic planning team for Zenith globally

  • My team won Gold at our global ROI Excellence awards for our work with Aldi

  • I was a key partner with our global team for building and framing the global Zenith proposition and approach.

  • Streamlined and synthesised data and insight tools and platforms into a well-functioning cohesive process. Trained teams and embedded into our way of working.

  • I developed a continuous brand tracking product (CX Tracker) which generated $1.2M of revenue over a 1.5 year period and won gold at our global ROI Excellence awards

  • I developed our central agency data system (Data Hub) which aggregated performance and media plan data across the business saving reporting time and allowing Zenith to re-deploy 30% of the available hours across other tasks and allowed us a 30,000 foot view on client activity and performance. Data Hub also and won gold at our ROI Excellence awards.

  • Growth framework – implemented a growth evaluation and forecasting framework that enabled us to align growth targets and marketing investment, and to tune our focus and implementation at the portfolio level.
